The programme is open to all international and Polish applicants interested in the field of Bilingual Education or CLIL at early stages of education and therefore it is designed for:

 

  • The graduates of Faculty of Education specializing in early language teaching (first cycle, Bachelor’s degree)
  • The graduates of foreign language teacher training colleges (first cycle, Bachelor’s degree)
  • The graduates of English philology and applied linguistics (first cycle, Bachelor’s degree)
  • The graduates of Early childhood education (first and second cycle, Bachelor’s and Master’s) with language proficiency at C1 level
  • The graduates of Teacher training colleges at C1 level
  • International students with previous teacher education background and C1 level

  • has specialized knowledge about sociological, psychological and pedagogical theories concerning young learners’ development and education, as well as their implications for various teaching contexts.
  • knows teaching methods appropriate for pre-school and early school children
  • has a rich range of lexical and grammatical structures as well as knowledge of spelling and phonetics which allows using English at an advanced level

Skills

  • uses theoretical knowledge to design teaching and learning processes at different stages of education including practical applications of various phenomena of social life
  • evaluates and justifies the effectiveness of teaching methods used  at different stages of education and is able to prepare evaluation reports in English, both in written and oral form
  • adjusts teaching methods to individual learners’ needs at different stages of education
  • uses English to prepare a range of written work at C1 level
  • uses English to prepare oral presentations at C1 level
